InformAI Welcomes Innovation Lead Dr. Anil Shetty

HOUSTON,Texas, March 2, 2020 – InformAI is pleased to welcome Innovation Lead Dr. Anil Shetty. As an inventive physician, scientist and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in academia and the medical device industry, Dr. Shetty is passionate about purpose-driven innovation and commercialization of disruptive innovative solutions for the health care industry. He has vast experience in multiple sectors, including clinical application development, clinical operations, business development and regulatory planning.


Shetty was a member of the Visualase executive team which led the Houston-based medical startup to a $110 million Medtronic acquisition in five years. Shetty has also led development of applications for epilepsy, spinal tumors, radiation necrosis and prostate tumors which have a combined market size of $ 2.25 billion. Later, he developed a network of clinics offering high resolution MRI, targeted biopsy and focal therapy for prostate cancer. He has a fellowship from MD Anderson Cancer Center and a Biomedical Engineering degree from Texas A&M. He has co-authored 30+peer-reviewed publications in oncology, radiology, neurology and neurosurgery.
